In a middle of a night, a troops of mosquitos was attacking our bedrooms. We couldn't sleep. We stayed awake, listening the attack song and busy clasping palms of our hands without getting any.
Out of cajuputi oil (minyak kayuputih), we desperately trying to sleep. Suddenly I remembered, that we have this plant (picture above). I don't know the Latin name, Indonesian or even English for it. I just know it usage is for insect repellant.
I went down to get some Virgin Coconut Out, took some of the leaves, crushed them and viola! We had a homemade mosquito repellent!
